Baltimore, MD (September 16, 2014) – The Mullan Contracting has been awarded a construction contract to renovate the 160,000 square foot Cecil County School of Technology in North East, Maryland. The project, which has commenced, is expected to take approximately nine months to complete. Earlier this summer, Mullan Contracting also won a contract from the Anne Arundel County Public School System for renovation and new construction activities at Nantucket Elementary School in Crofton, Maryland.
The Cecil County School of Technology teaches high school students a variety of trades such as mechanics, carpentry, plumbing and construction.
Within the past year, The Mullan Contracting Company has completed various construction projects for institutions including Annapolis High School, The Calvert School, St. Ignatius Loyola Academy and McDonogh School. The work at McDonogh School included the construction of The Naylor Building, a three-story, 60,000 square foot facility for Upper School science, technology, engineering and math, as well as the Edward St. John Learning Center, a four-story, 75,000 square foot structure.
